The Church of the Helper of Christians

  • The Church of the Helper of Christians The Church of the Helper of Christians was built by the end of the 19th century after a medieval church was turned into an elementary school. It harbours silver works of art and votive paintings of seafarers by well-known seascape painters of the 19th century from the families of Roux from Marseilles and Bokelj Vas Ivanković. Of the older works of art, the painting attributed to the Venetian painter Jakov Palma junior from the second half of the 16th century stands out, depicting the common "Sante conversazioni".
